Accountant

Join our client, a leading CPA Firm in Robertsdale, AL, as a Staff Accountant assisting with Audit, Tax, and Bookkeeping tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent accounting graduates looking to pursue their CPA. You'll work closely with a team of CPAs and a dedicated support person, contributing to impactful financial projects and gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Compensation: Salary range of $20-25 per hour depending on experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting with Audit, Tax, and Bookkeeping tasks.
• Collaborating with CPAs and team members via Teams/Skype.
• Comfortably communicating with clients during onsite visits.
• Adapting to seasonal travel demands, primarily in February, November, and December.

What You'll Need to be Considered:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a good GPA.
• Proficiency in Excel, including VLookups and Pivot Tables.
• Successful completion of advanced audit classes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Flexibility for up to 50% travel during peak seasons

What could set you apart:

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (a plus)
