Here’s what you need to know:
Title: Accounting Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper
Role Type: Direct Hire
Location: Onsite in Birmingham, AL
Compensation: $65k-$85k DOE

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor and analyze invoices and payments to vendors.
• Inventory coordination for asset-based lending.
• Prepare and review of payroll for entry to the payroll system.
• Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts and packing slips.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare general ledger adjustments for approval and posting.
• Support general ledger analysis including account reconciliations.
• Assist accounts receivable functions of invoicing and collections.
• Assist accounts payable, including the coding and input of invoices and preparation of checks for payment.

What you’ll need to be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred (not required)
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong general ledger accounting experience required.
• Intermediate – Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong inventory management experience
• Experience working in a smaller organization/wearing multiple hats
