Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounts Payable Specialist
(Contract-to-Hire OR Direct Hire if needed)
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join their team. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day financial operations in a high-volume, multi-location manufacturing environment. Your work ensures accurate vendor payments, smooth payroll processing, and reliable financial recordkeeping that keeps operations running efficiently.

Compensation
- $20-23/ hour (Pay increases after 90 days)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process vendor payments, payroll items, and expense reimbursements accurately and on time
- Reconcile accounts and verify entries against system reports
- Maintain organized historical financial records and assist with month-end close
- Match checks to invoices and prepare them for mailing
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Input invoices and review check batch reports
- Assist with ongoing process improvements in AP operations
What You’ll Need to be Considered
- Accounting degree or relevant experience
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience
- Comfortable working within the General Ledger
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
