Title: AR Specialist
Role type: Contract – 3 Months / Full Time
Location: Homewood, AL / On-site
Compensation: $20-22/hr (DOE)
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing accounts receivable and collections processes efficiently.
- Researching and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy in billing and payments.
- Communicating with insurance companies and patients via phone and email to follow up on outstanding balances.
What you’ll need to be considered:
Experience:
- 2+ years of AR/Collections experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What could set you apart from the rest:
- Familiarity with billing software such as Bill.com (preferred) and Sage (a plus).
