Architect

ITAC Solutions is assisting a great client in the Birmingham, AL area in their search for an Architect. The right candidate will look forward to working within the public and private sector on multiple projects!

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Project planning and design
  • Develop comprehensive architectural plans and designs in accordance with client requirements, building codes, and industry standards
• Construction Documentation
  • Produce detailed and accurate construction drawings, specifications, and documents for contractors and builders.
• Project Management
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Sustainable Design Integration
  • Integrate sustainable design principles and practices into architectural projects to minimize environmental impact.
• Client Communication and Collaboration
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, answering queries, and managing expectations.

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited program.
• Proficient in Revit Architecture and other design software.
• Knowledge of architectural principles and practices and being able to apply them to any situation.
• Ability to multitask, tracking multiple projects at once of varying size and timelines.
• Directing other architects and staff by assigning tasks.
• Able to work Independently
• 3-10 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed to practice architecture or desire to obtain a license.
• Self starter attitude, energetic and enthusiastic, and desire to collaborate with others.
