Job Details

Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller
Direct Hire / Full-time
Birmingham, AL / In Office 
Salary – $80,000 – $90,000 – DOE

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Assisting with analyzing and reporting financial information for multiple divisions
• Assisting with forecasting and preparing budgets
• Assisting with month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Balance sheet reconciliation

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

• 10+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Demonstrated experience with month-end close, general ledger, financial statement preparation, inventory management, account payable, and accounts receivable

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Full-cycle accounting experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Construction experience- a huge plus!
• Team player and strong communicator.
• Strong Excel skills
• ERP system experience
