Behavioral Healthcare Coordinator

Our client is seeking a motivated Behavioral Health Coordinator to oversee and organize care for patients requiring behavioral health services. In this role, you’ll coordinate with providers, ensure benefits and treatment plans are clearly communicated, and play a pivotal part in maintaining the quality and efficiency of care delivery. Compensation: $66,000 – $70,000 DOE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling, referrals, and monitoring treatment progress
• Receive and triage calls from patients, providers, and facilities
• Explain benefits and verify eligibility with clarity and professionalism
• Participate in utilization review and quality assurance processes
• Maintain accurate clinical records, reports, and documentation
• Assist with emergency case coverage and facility transfers as needed
• Liaise with physicians, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless care delivery

What You’ll Need to Be Considered:

• Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field
• Active professional licensure (LPC, LICSW, BCBA, or equivalent)
• Experience with utilization review, psychiatric care, and quality assurance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High professionalism, patience, and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to manage high-stress situations and multi-task effectively
