Title: Billing Specialist
Role Type: Direct Hire / Full time
Location: Nashville, TN / In Office, hybrid flexibility after training
Salary: $50K-$62K (DOE)
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
- Process monthly client billing for assigned attorneys.
- Perform audits of Firm bills to ensure timeliness and accuracy of client bills.
- Prepare, proof, and modify invoices accordingly and send them to clients.
- Assist attorneys and secretaries with client inquiries.
- Complete electronic billing setups.
- Research details of client-related expense items.
- Coordinate with clients and attorneys on rate approvals.
- Review non-compliant invoices.
- Perform year-end client follow-up.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, preferred
Experience: 2+ years of legal billing experience, required
Experience with Elite or Elite 3E or any other legal billing software.
