Project Accountant / Construction Accountant
Our client is building the financial engine behind large-scale energy and data infrastructure projects—and this role is central to making that happen. As a Project Accountant, you’ll work at the intersection of accounting and operations, providing the financial insight that keeps complex projects on track and leadership informed as the business rapidly scales.
This is a high-impact opportunity to influence how projects are managed, measured, and delivered while partnering closely with project managers and senior stakeholders.

Compensation
-
$85,000–$90,000+, depending on experience
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Analyze project financials, budgets, forecasts, and cost performance
-
Manage invoicing, revenue recognition, and contract compliance
-
Partner with Project Managers on projections, variance analysis, and cash flow
-
Prepare detailed project reporting and financial analysis
-
Maintain project accounting controls within the ERP system

Support earned value management and cost control initiatives

Serve as a key financial resource across project teams
What You’ll Need to Be Considered

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
3+ years of accounting experience in the Construction, architecture, engineering, or utility industry

Strong understanding of GAAP and compliance requirements

Advanced Excel skillset
-
SOX compliance experience
-
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
