Chief Financial Officer / VP Finance

This role goes far beyond reporting—owning profitability, pricing strategy, and operational performance to help a nimble organization outperform much larger competitors. You’ll sit at the center of decision-making, driving real-time insights that directly impact growth, margin, and market positioning.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive product-line and customer-level profitability analysis to optimize margin mix
• Partner with sales to refine pricing strategy, deal structure, and contract profitability
• Oversee plant financial performance, including cost, yield, and efficiency metrics
• Lead working capital strategy across inventory, AR/AP, and cash flow
• Build real-time dashboards and reporting for data-driven decisions
• Enhance ERP and financial systems to improve visibility and speed
• Support growth initiatives including expansion and operational scaling

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA preferred
• Recent manufacturing experience required
• Direct executive-level experience presenting financial data, owning the numbers, and making strategic decisions alongside C-level leadership (not operating through an intermediary)
• Experience owning both plant finance and cost accounting in a hands-on environment
• Proven ability to influence pricing strategy and partner closely with sales
• Track record of building segment-level profitability models (product/customer)
• Experience operating in a lean, mid-sized company environment
• Exposure to ERP enhancements and real-time financial reporting tools
