Development Specialist

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Serves as a liaison with treatment providers, clients, patients, and others, as requested.
• Assists in conducting Company provider orientations, including individual and regional provider training sessions.
• Assists Clinical Division as directed in client/case-specific provider hook-ups and problem-solving.
• Assists Marketing Division as requested in support services related to specific or potential client contracts; assists in preparation of proposals as requested.
• Participates in on-going marketing and provider relations efforts, special projects and on-going research and public relations efforts as appropriate.
• Coordinates information on competition, provider rates by region or city, national statistics and relevant changes in the field; Makes recommendations on product line enhancements and prepares reports as requested.

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
 

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Sales Experience; Medical sales experience and/or insurance background.
• Outgoing personality with comfortability cold calling providers and selling them to join the network.
• Business development and growth.
• 3+ years’ experience in provider relations (strongly prefers experience/involvement in the mental health field and public relations.
• Comfortability with computerized applications (Pcs, Word, Access, and the internet).
• Professional demeanor; strong public speaking ability and experience with group presentations.
• Willingness to perform extensive telephone work.
• Ability to travel.
