We are looking for an Engineering Designer in the Tampa, Florida area!

What you will be doing (responsibilities):
- Produce plans and drawings as assigned with minimal instruction using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Read and produce legal descriptions.
- Visit construction sites to observe progress and to determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.
- Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Exercise broad knowledge of the design process and understand company technical standards.
What you’ll need to be considered (qualifications):
- Associate degree or Professional Degree in Drafting/Design/Architecture or equivalent experience or accreditation.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software (required).
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of surveying principles.
- Minimum of 3 years of technical and construction document production experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of building codes, building systems, and Architectural codes.
- Experience with coordinating multidisciplinary consultants such as MPE, structural, and civil.
- Understanding of the tasks associated with the preparation of construction documents.
