Financial Analyst – Montgomery, AL

We're assisting our client in their search for an entry-level financial analyst, in the Montgomery area!

Here's what you'll need to know! 
Pay: $45-65K/yr. 
Location: Montgomery, AL – In-Office (100%)
Employment Type: Full-time (DH)

What you'll be doing (duties of the position):

• Input and review company data for financial modeling. Ensure data and model accuracy.
• Create monthly/annual reports for management and board. Analyze reports, and provide recommendations. 
• Enhance financial performance by identifying trends, variances, and opportunities. Provide recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage database by entering, verifying, and backing up data. Correct data discrepancies.
• Support decision-making by analyzing and interpreting data, comparing alternatives, and coordinating information needs.
• Work with different teams to achieve organizational goals.

What you'll need to be considered (requirements): 

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc. – required. 
• 1 year of similar work experience in finance, accounting, or risk management. 
• MBA a plus. 
• Strong Excel is required. (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Macros, etc.) 
• Experience with database management tools a plus.
