Inventory Control Clerk

Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Monitor Inventory Levels: Regularly assess stock levels of coils and rotors to ensure adequate supplies are maintained for manufacturing and rebuilding operations, minimizing production disruptions
• Coordinate Receiving and Shipping: Oversee the receipt of incoming materials and parts, verifying accuracy and completeness of deliveries. Facilitate the shipping process for finished products, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to customers
• Conduct Inventory Audits: Perform periodic inventory counts and audits to reconcile physical stock levels with electronic records. Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy
• Implement Inventory Management Systems: Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements, update stock records, and generate reports. Collaborate with relevant departments to optimize inventory control processes and streamline operations
• Liaise with Material Planners: Communicate regularly with material planners to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely procurement of coils and rotors components. Collaborate on inventory optimization strategies, including reorder points and lead times, to support production schedules and minimize stockouts
• Plays a pinnacle role in the mid-year and year-end inventory
