Inventory Data Analyst

ITAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Inventory Data Analyst for a great company in the Birmingham, AL area.
Days/Hours: Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm
Onsite/Remote: 100% onsite
What you’ll be doing:

• Provide support for strategic supply chain initiatives to the Inventory Control Team
• Proactively collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to refine the demand plan
• Undertake projects including simulation modeling, supplier optimization, process improvements, forecast and regression analysis, and daily communication with field leadership
• Make decisions on strategic inventory initiatives based on analysis and insights gathered from data from the Demand Planner
• Focus on inventory management, leveraging data from Demand Planning for efficient inventory management
• Develop and implement just-in-time inventory and stocking level initiatives, decreasing annual excess inventory / increasing inventory turns

What you’ll need to be considered:

• Bachelors degree  (will consider recent graduates with the appropriate skillset)
• Strong data analysis skills
• Ability to ensure optimal data quality and integrity critical to exceed supply chain initiatives
• Ability to identify operational improvements to track and enhance data quality
• Preferred experience with visual analytical tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Knowledge of Inventory control and Demand Planning
• Strong MS-Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills, well spoken and professional
