Jr. System Administrator

ITAC Solutions is looking for a Systems Administrator to join a growing client in Birmingham, AL. 

The right candidate will have broad system administration experience and ideally, experience in some type of cloud platform. The individual in this position will assist with the design, implementation, maintenance, and primary support of our client’s enterprise environment.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Implement and support critical systems and networks including Servers, Firewalls, Office 365, Azure VMs, and MDM.
• Monitor and tune the systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
• Perform hardware and software maintenance functions such as upgrades, installing service packs, and enhancement configuration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with configurations and hardware.
• Develop technical solutions and configure security tools to help identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and carry out information security plans and policies.  
• Manage technology procurement process including inventory updates and distribution.

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• 5+ years of IT administration experience.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with technologies such as Windows 10/11, O365, VMware, Azure AD, firewall administration, and some application software administration.
• Requires strong knowledge of server configuration, security software administration, and desktop processing/operating systems.
