Legal Assistant, Commercial Bankruptcy

ITAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant-Commercial Bankruptcy for a well-known client in the Birmingham area.

Pay Range: $50 – $60k (DOE)

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Performs secretarial and administrative support of complex, sensitive and confidential matters in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Prepares initial drafts of routine documents, minutes and correspondence; proofreads and edits materials with a high degree of accuracy
• Identifies, organizes, and analyzes documents related to commercial bankruptcy
• Assists with discovery and trial
• Schedule meetings and manage a complex calendar

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Associates degree preferred
• 4 years of Commercial Bankruptcy proceedings
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple activities
