Program Buyer

ITAC Solutions is assisting an auto component supplier in the Montgomery, AL area! We are seeking a Buyer who is interested in leading purchasing activity!

Pay Rate: $65k
This position is on-site. 

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Coordinate purchasing activities for regional and global programs, ensuring alignment with new business initiatives
• Manage Bills of Material (BOM), including development, updates, and maintenance
• Oversee financial commitments to meet launch targets
• Develop and implement cost roadmaps to drive efficiency
• Analyze regional BOMs to identify global sourcing opportunities
• Collaborate with program teams and supplier development to achieve program timing goals
• Facilitate change control processes, including RFQ, cost adjustments, and timing modifications
• Coordinate program cancellation and obsolescence cost recovery efforts

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field, with 1 to 3 years of experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and intermediate Excel proficiency required
• Demonstrate a high sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for successful collaboration
