Quality Manager / Automotive Quality Leader

Our client is seeking a Quality Manager to shape and maintain a world-class Quality Management System while directly impacting on customer satisfaction and operational performance. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on problem-solving, ensuring products meet the highest industry standards.

Compensation: $95,000 annually DOE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) in line with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001
• Lead internal and external audits, including customer and supplier audits
• Manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Serve as primary contact for customer complaints, corrective actions, and quality issues
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement solutions
• Mentor and lead Quality Technicians to meet team and organizational goals

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• Be able to do the job as described
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related discipline
• Certified IATF 16949 Lead Auditor and VDA 6.3 Process Auditor certification
• Proficiency with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA quality tools
• Strong experience with customer-specific requirements and automotive quality standards
• Ability to lead customer-facing quality initiatives and issue resolution
• Expertise in root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, corrective/preventative actions)
