Compensation
- $145 – 170k base salary + bonus
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead planning, process design, and optimization of municipal/industrial wastewater systems
- Oversee project scope, budget, and schedule for process components
- Serve as technical expert on PFDs, P&IDs, equipment selection, and modeling
- Conduct feasibility studies and regulatory coordination
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
- Present technical solutions to clients and support business development
- Perform site visits for construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting
What You’ll Need to be Considered
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater process engineering within a consulting environment.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Proficiency in modeling software (e.g., BioWin, GPS-X) and AutoCAD/Revit
- Expertise in process design for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Board Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE) certification a plus.
- Active leadership roles within professional organizations.
- Experience across municipal and industrial sectors in water and wastewater treatment.
- Successful project delivery and client relationship management in a consulting setting.
