Roadway Design Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Roadway Design Project Manager who wants their work to shape how communities move, grow, and connect. This role blends technical leadership with real-world impact, overseeing roadway projects that improve safety, accessibility, and long-term infrastructure. You’ll guide teams, partner with public agencies, and help deliver projects that communities rely on every day.

Compensation

• $120k-150k/yr depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage roadway design projects from concept through construction
• Lead client relationships and coordinate with public agencies
• Apply GDOT standards and federal roadway design guidelines
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and technical quality
• Perform design reviews and QA/QC oversight
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and interns
• Support project development, proposals, and scope definition

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia
• Deep knowledge of GDOT standards and processes
• Expertise with roadway design guidelines (Green Book, MUTCD, FHWA)
• Hands-on experience with MicroStation OpenRoads
• Ability to lead teams while remaining collaborative and approachable
• Comfort representing projects publicly and with regulatory agencies
