Compensation: $110,000-130,000

What you will be doing (responsibilities):

• Leading interdisciplinary teams in delivering study, planning, design, construction oversight, and commissioning services for water/wastewater treatment utilities.
• Generating project deliverables such as engineering calculations, equipment specifications, technical reports, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Applying appropriate design methodologies to meet industry standards consistently.
• Ensuring project management adheres to high-quality standards, achieves on-time/on-budget delivery, and meets client satisfaction objectives.
• Collaborating with leadership on staffing and project workload management.
• Conducting quality assurance and quality control checks on project documentation to maintain accuracy.
• Engaging directly with clients, providing timely and detail-oriented communication.
• Contributing to proposals, business development, and marketing activities as required.

What you’ll need to be considered (qualifications):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in municipal or industrial water/wastewater systems.
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration in Tennessee (preferably in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina).
• Extensive technical background and experience in water or wastewater treatment plant design.
• Active involvement in professional and industry organizations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in technical specifications and software such as Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
