Senior WordPress Developer

ITAC Solutions is looking for a talented WordPress Developer to join our client’s vibrant team.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Crafting and maintaining WordPress themes in accordance with provided design mockups and specifications.
• Ensuring consistent content updates for website pages and blog sections.
• Managing backups and executing routine maintenance plans.
• Customizing and enhancing WordPress plugins to meet project requirements and expand functionality.
• Integrating website features with various third-party tools, including Salesforce, through the creation and management of custom APIs.
• Implementing techniques to boost performance, security, and scalability, such as caching mechanisms.
• Supervising website chat functions and form integrations to facilitate seamless CRM integration, particularly with Salesforce (Litify).
• Applying best practices for Google indexability and crawlability to optimize online visibility.
• Identifying and resolving technical SEO issues impacting website performance in search engine results.

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrated through project portfolio.
• At least 5-7 years of practical experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with Website Builders and WP Engine Hosting Manager.
• Sound understanding of WordPress architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Thorough grasp of SEO principles, encompassing both on-page and off-page strategies, with expertise in Google indexability and troubleshooting technical SEO issues.
• Experience in developing custom plugins and themes.
• Proficiency in responsive design techniques and frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
