Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor

ITAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor for a great company in the Huntsville, AL area.
Days/Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30am-4pm (occasional OT)
Onsite/Remote: Onsite
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Lead by example; know and enforce safety, production and quality standards.
• Coordinate delivery, distribution and shipment of materials to meet production schedules; prepare production orders, transportation schedules and purchase orders.
• Monitors production schedule, allocate resources, and develop timetables using sales forecasts
• Forecast and budget planning
• Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine status of work and coordinate activities between departments that may impact overall operations.

• Determine material inventories, space utilization, manufacturing and shipping requirements; compute shipping, storage, demurrage and related charges
• Meet or exceed logistic goals
• Manage all loading vehicles and all related tasks, such as PM, ensuring the functionality and coordination of repairs

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• HS diploma
• 2+ years experience working in a Shipping/Receiving position in a manufacturing/industrial environment (preferred)
• Leadership/Supervisory skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Good communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
