Sr. Software Architect

We are helping a great Birmingham-based company search for a Sr. Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting software systems.

Birmingham, AL / Full-Time – Direct Hire / On-Site
Salary: $95-115K

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Analyzes, designs, and constructs software solutions.
• Able to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Analyzes current system for improvements with speed, performance, correcting technical problems, and identifying areas of improvement.
• Responsible for execution of unit test.
• Participate in requirements gathering and definition.
• Act as a SME and provide leadership to the team.
• Documents work in appropriate systems.
• Back-up other developers as needed, including reviewing code and assisting with multiple projects.
• Able to provide good development estimates.
• Assist with software builds, release management and deployments.

 
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• Minimum of 5 years of solid, diverse programming experience.
• Minimum of 3 years with the following technologies: C#, ASP.Net MVC, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful Services, and Front end frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React
• Strong knowledge of working in relational databases.
• Experience in object-oriented analysis and design, multi-tiered solutions, web technologies and standard design patterns.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a strategic thinking mentality.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills that adhere to standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
• Enthusiastic about learning large and complex systems as well as new tools.
