Staff Accountant
Salary: $55-65K

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Prepare journal entries for the general ledger and related reconciliations
• Analyze and report on trends, estimates, and variances
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and other monthly reports
• Review and prepare bank reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close
• Support the annual audit process
• Record transactions related to long-term debt, unclaimed property, fixed assets, and capital projects as needed
• Provide backup support to the accounts payable function

What you’ll need to be considered (required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• A minimum of six months of experience in accounting
• General ledger journal entry experience
• Cash and accounts receivable.
• Unclaimed Property
• Investments and Long-Term debt
• Fixed assets using project costs (strongly preferred)
• SAP or other ERP system

• Unclaimed property, investments, or long-term debt experience
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll experience
