Compensation: $75,000 annually (may exceed range for WSET or high-level Sommelier) + Up to 20% bonus based on performance
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee wine and beverage service across multiple fine dining outlets
- Lead wine education, pairings, and staff mentorship
- Build and maintain an award-winning wine list and tasting program
- Train and mentor students, including structured internships and experiential learning
- Support interviewing, marketing, budgeting, and operational strategy
- Support FOH operations, scheduling, guest satisfaction, and VIP experiences
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and cellar operations with precision
What You’ll Need to Be Considered:
- Certified Sommelier or equivalent (WSET Level 2+ preferred)
- 5+ years in fine dining restaurant service
- 3+ years in fine dining leadership
- Strong teaching and mentorship skills, particularly with learners and students
- Experience in multi-course menu environments
What Could Set You Apart:
- Proven ability to develop wine lists recognized by Wine Spectator or similar
- Background in upscale dining with Forbes or James Beard recognition
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Wine Studies, or related field
- Experience in tasting menu environments
