Kevin Wade is a Partner and Business Development lead at ITAC Solutions, a staffing agency, where for the past five and a half years he’s made a habit of opening doors that hadn’t been opened before, tracking down companies that have never worked with ITAC, or haven’t in a long time, and building the kind of client relationship that turns them into partners. He came to recruiting after his previous employer, in the background screening and drug testing world, was acquired, and he’s stayed at ITAC for the people and a simple shared belief: always do the right thing.

Kevin describes his work in business development as a mix of persistence and patience, staying in front of a prospective staffing client without ever becoming the call they dread, and never quite knowing from one day to the next who might turn into ITAC’s next great partnership. His approach boils down to one idea: he’s there to serve the client, not the other way around, and honesty isn’t negotiable.

Outside the office, Kevin is a devoted husband and father to his now-grown kids, a 1970s and ’80s music guy through and through, and a 34-year Alabama football season ticket holder who still gets chills thinking about 2nd and 26 and the 1992 national championship over Miami. He’s also been collecting coins since he was nine years old, and by sixteen, he’d already figured out how to turn that childhood hobby into an actual investment strategy, which, honestly, explains a lot about how he does business today.
