Leslie Shea is the Technical Recruiting Manager at ITAC Solutions, a staffing agency, where she leads the IT and Engineering recruiting verticals. Based in Kansas City and serving clients across the Southeast, Leslie has spent nearly nine years at ITAC, working her way through every corner of the business.

What sets Leslie apart is a genuine people-first approach to recruiting. She leads with emotional intelligence, transparency, and empathy, not just filling roles, but coaching job candidates and teammates with intention. As she puts it: “We all bring a valuable skill set to the table, let’s highlight yours.” Even when a job placement isn’t the right fit, Leslie stays invested in helping people find their next step. With engineers especially, she’s learned that the job isn’t transactional, it’s relationship-driven, and finding the right environment matters the most.

Outside of work, Leslie is a mom of two, chasing her kids and her blue tick coonhound, Bowie, between hikes, sports activities, and weekend swims. She’s usually knee-deep in a house project, a garden expansion, or a sourdough starter, and lately, a mahjong obsession has entered the rotation, too.
