Legal Opportunities

ITAC Solutions is assisting multiple firms in the Birmingham area in their search for qualified candidates with proven legal experience!  Openings include Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, and Paralegal, and positions can be contract, temp to hire, or direct hire.  Job responsibilities will vary depending on the opening and practice areas of the hiring firm.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

  • Review and index documents and maintain records of client files
  • Draft and manage discovery
  • Edit, format, and revise all letters, memos, reports, and any other printed material
  • Assist with deposition, trial, and mediation preparation
  • Enter attorneys’ time for billing purposes
  • Maintain daily calendar, book meetings, and make travel arrangements as necessary
  • Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, colleagues and partners

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a legal support role
  • Substantial knowledge of legal terminology, regulations and court system
  • Working knowledge of document management software systems
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

What could set you apart from the rest (preferred skills / experience / knowledge):

  • Associate degree or certificate preferred
  • Litigation Experience
